We actually decided to stay here as I had IHG Diamond Elite and InterContinental Ambassador membership. ## Location The InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong is located near the **Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station**. It’s about an 8 to 10-minute walk from the station, and the nearest exit is at **P2**. While it’s convenient, do expect a bit of walking distance from the MTR station, especially if you are carrying multiple luggages. ## Check-in Check-in was surprisingly slow, even at the priority line, which was a little unexpected. When it was our turn to check in, I was acknowledged as an IHG Diamond Elite member and could choose free breakfast, and we also received the InterContinental Ambassador membership benefits of late check-out and the US$20 credit, which could be used at selected places within the hotel. We originally booked a Classic Room, but were automatically upgraded to a **Classic Skyline Harbour View Room** after booking immediately after booking and could be seen through the app. ## The room The **Classic Skyline Harbour View Room** is about 30 sqm and has a slightly unusual layout, with a small section jutting out for better views, which seems typical for rooms in this category. It also looked kind of dated. We were given the following menu. We had access given our IHG Diamond Elite membership. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, including both Western dishes and Hong Kong-style dishes. There was also no problem finding a seat, as the dining area had plenty of space, so we didn’t have to wait at all for a table.
