I visited the Ahlan Lounge at Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3 in May 2025. Since my Emirates flight was departing from the B gates, I chose the lounge located at gate B26. There are other Ahlan Lounges at Terminal 3, including gates A1 and C13, but this was the most convenient one.

Location and access
The lounge is located near gate B26 within Terminal 3, close to McDonald’s. It is somewhat difficult to find as you need to take an elevator up to reach it. I forgot to take a photo of the entrance, so here’s one from the lounge operator themselves. Look for this particular elevator.
I accessed it via Priority Pass, but you can access it via LoungeKey or DragonPass too.

Layout
The lounge feels spacious with a variety of seating options ranging from lounge chairs to dining tables and a bar counter. The buffet is in the main area, with washrooms behind it. Charging ports are available under seats at dining tables, making it convenient to work and eat should you choose to do so. The lounge feels airy but there are no tarmac views.

Amenities
This lounge has been recently renovated and looks much better than the photos found online or in the Priority Pass app. It feels quite upscale for a contract lounge.
Showers are not inside the lounge itself, and guests need to walk about 8 to 10 minutes each way to the Dubai International Hotel, escorted by a staff member from the reception. You might have to wait for a few guests as they tend to bring multiple guests together. The washrooms are inside the lounge, though it’s pretty small.

Food and drinks
Food offerings focus mainly on Middle Eastern cuisine, cold salads, desserts, and a selection of drinks.

Alcohol is served at a manned bar, and you can request for some cocktails or even barista-made coffee here.

Final thoughts
The lounge offers good decor, a pleasant atmosphere, and solid food and drink options. While it was relatively busy during my visit, it didn’t felt so noisy given the airy nature of the lounge. Given the quality of a contract lounge, I would consider returning when flying economy through Dubai.
