  This was part of our second consecutive sakura blossom chasing trip, and we needed a base in Osaka for a night. We arrived from Nagoya on the Kintetsu Hinotori limited express, which terminates at Osaka-Namba Station, right beside the hotel. We stayed here in late March 2026.   We stayed here in June 2025 for a staycation using our Accor Plus Stay Plus certificate. This was our third time staying at Swissotel The Stamford, and it’s usually difficult to secure a night here during the National Day Parade rehearsal weekends, so we got lucky when we found availability using Stay Plus.   I stayed at the Novotel Suites Mall Avenue Dubai for four nights earlier this year during a work trip. It's the type of hotel you end up booking when everything else is full, which sounds like a criticism but isn't really. Sometimes you just need somewhere decent for a few nights.
