This was the second flight of my Shenzhen Airlines journey from Singapore to Shanghai. After flying from Singapore to Shenzhen on flight ZH240, I continued to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport on flight ZH9509. Both sectors were part of the same S$550 Trip.com itinerary, and I had received the boarding passes at Singapore Changi Airport. As with the first flight, the main reason I had booked premium economy was the fare class and the status miles it earned towards renewing my Turkish Airlines Miles&S...

By the time I reached the lounge, I had only around 15 minutes before I needed to leave for the gate. This wasn't going to be a long visit, but that ...

I recently had to be in Shanghai and ended up flying with Shenzhen Airlines, with a connection at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport before continuing to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport. It was on premium economy and the ticket cost S$550 after a Trip.com sale. The main reason I chose premium economy wasn’t the seat. I actually needed just a bit more status miles to renew my Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles Elite status, which also gives Star Alliance Gold.
